Bahraini officials have banned one of the kingdom’s top BlackBerry news providers due to violations of its media laws. The Muhannad Group, which launched earlier this year, had already been banned once until it regularised its services. Now the nation’s head of publications and printing has stepped in to impose a second sanction.
